for French Post
Hermès is turning some of its iconic scarf designs into stamps for the French postal service’s annual Valentine’s Day “Heart” collection. The 2013 edition will feature the French luxury brand’s “De tout coeur” scarf design by Zoé Pauwels.
Since 2000, La Poste has previously collaborated on the project with designers including Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix, Chanel, Givenchy and Lanvin.
This edition will mark the first time it will be issuing a sheet of five stamps with different designs. The illustrations incorporate images of swans, hearts, shooting stars and a lyre, instrument of the messenger god Hermès.
The stamps will be available in all (French) post offices from Jan. 28.
