Philip Glass composed the strong, almost hypnotic music (for Glass Ensemble) at the famous cult movie "Koyaanisqatsi - Life Out of Balance" by director Godfrey Reggio. Commissioned by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra Glass Koyaanisqatsi has worked for orchestra, Glass ensemble and choir, whose world premiere took place in 2010. The North Dutch Orchestra plays the Dutch premiere of his intriguing film (for orchestra, ensemble and choir) from the eighties: Koyaanisqatsi was a cult hit and is still relevant. A penetrating musical and visual vision of our relationship with the earth. Along with the Philip Glass Ensemble and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir we carry out this orchestration, with screening of the film. LINK NNO
