From September 16 on, the museum garden of Museum Volkenkunde in Leiden has as if by magic turned into one big exploring-expedition ground. Large expedition cases are placed in the garden. As if a ship has just returned from a distant and foreign country and has left her cargo behind here. The cases create an interactive exhibition about legendary expeditions of the past and the present.
