EXIT

Seen @ Observant
August 28, Amersfoort

With quiet relaxed music the play opened and the actors introduce themselves in a surprising manner and go straight into attack to the public. A hilarious moment the EXIT Card was introduced in an icy environment. One of the EXIT cards would come into force. But unfortunately happened not what the buyer expected. So the play continues for thirty minutes with a fantastic structure and tension with delicious dialogues through. In conclusion finds a climax instead of the EXIT Card guarantee!. Visit the upcoming play in Nijmegen! Don’t miss it! My compliments to the actors, director and writer. Dolf Pauw

Action Comics #1

Action Comics #1 (June 1938) is the first issue of the original run of the comic book series Action Comics. It features the first appearance of several comic book heroes-most notably the Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster creation, Superman. For this reason it is widely considered both the beginning of the superhero genre and the most valuable comic book of all time. On August 24, 2014, a copy graded 9.0 by CGC was sold on eBay for US $3,207,852. It is the only comic book to have sold for more than $3 million for a single original copy. Action Comics would go on to run for 904 numbered issues (plus additional out-of-sequence special issues) before it restarted its numbering in the fall of 2011. It is scheduled to return to its original numbering in 2016. It is not to be confused with the first issue of the second series (or "volume") of Action Comics which was launched as part of DC Comics' New 52 revamp in the fall of 2011. LINK sell my comic books

None Of Us Are Free

Performance by Solomon Burke

It was first recorded by Ray Charles on his 1993 album My World, but received relatively little attention at that time. A version was also included by Lynyrd Skynyrd on their 1997 album Twenty. In 2002, a version was recorded by soul singer Solomon Burke on his album Don't Give Up On Me. The track featured The Blind Boys of Alabama on backing vocals, and the album won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album, bringing Burke back into the public eye. The song was released as a single in the UK, and "None of Us Are Free" became a feature of Burke's later performances. His version of the track was also notably featured at the end of the sixth episode of the second season of House. Solomon Burke on Youtube
